The purpose of this Talk is to assist Malaysian companies especially SMEs to list their products on the shelves of MYDIN Retail Chains (MYDIN Hypermarkets and Supermarkets, MY MYDIN and MY MART) and also the newly launched KEDAI RAKYAT throughout Malaysia.

Speaker's Profile
 
EN. NORMAN RAJEN BIN ABDULLAH
En. Norman Rajen Bin Abdullah, aged 50 is a Senior Manager at Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd He has over 30 years of retail experience. His career began in 1979 with Emporium Holdings. He then moved on to other management positions in MCCS Ltd and subsequently the Hong Leong Group.
 
In 1997, he joined MYDIN as a Branch Manager. He is currently in charge of the Food Division of the Merchandising Dept. During the past 14 years in MYDIN, he was one of the core group of employees who had successfully transformed the company into where it is today ie. a leading local retail chain.
 
Effective late 2010, he is an active consultant for the TUKAR Project (one of the Entry Point Projects under the Government’s Economic Transformation Program a.k.a. NKEA) in which MYDIN is playing a leading role as part of their CSR contribution to the country.
 
He has recently been appointed as a Committee Member to the Industry Advisory Committee (2011-2013) for Polyteknik Sultan Azlan Shah, Ministry of Higher Education. He is one of the company’s senior spokesmen, representing the MYDIN in various forums, trade exposition and trade fairs in the country.
