Fundodai Inc., founded in 1869 in Kumamoto, Japan, is a leading soy sauce and miso manufacturer with over 150 years of heritage since we shifted our business from a money changer and sake brewer (red sake). Originally a sake brewer and money changer, the company transitioned to soy sauce production and has since grown into a trusted producer of soy sauce, miso, vinegars, and modern seasonings.
