KOPERASI CELCOM BERHAD

Established on 21 January 1994 under Section 9 of the Cooperatives Act 1993 under the supervision of the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM) and the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK). KOPCEL is wholly owned by employees of Axiata Group Companies, Celcom Axiata Berhad (CELCOM), Edotco and KOPCEL comprising 1,080 members as at 31 December 2018.

KOPCEL commenced operations in July 1994 and is primarily engaged in providing credit services to members. Under the business department, KOPCEL operates convenience stores at @Celcom Section 52, PJ Sentral and Wisma Celcom Petaling Jaya as well as transportation rental services. Currently, KOPCEL also owns three property units in Bukit Beruntung, Genting Highland, and Pending.

It has been our dream to become a competitive and leading cooperative in the country. The new image is more suited to cooperatives that reflects efforts to drive cooperatives towards more dynamics through more professional efforts towards sustainable business growth in line with the ever-changing global environment.
