Maritakis & Co. are company that provided Chalkidiki Olives. Chalkidiki olives are the famous Halkidiki olives and this olives are naturally green. They are fruits of a special tree race, which of course is just as robust and frugal as that of our olive trees. These trees need a yearly average, but not so radically thinned far as the Koroneiki olives, from which we get our olive oil. The olives are twice as large as their relatives oily and have a higher water content. Their leaves are much larger and shimmer with a beautiful silvery underside.
