Our family has been dedicated to the production of olive oil for more than 50 years. We are the heirs of a tradition that dates from 1942, when Mateo Muela began to produce virgin olive oil in a mill with the traditional cold press system. Although it was difficult in the beginning, Don Mateo put his faith in a different and novel project, in the knowledge that the future of the sector would be concentrated on extra virgin oil. For this purpose he developed an innovative grinding system, and set out to prepare unique oil with care, art and attention to detail. Half a century and three generations later, in Mueloliva we continue to keep the secret of how to obtain the best olive oil, caring for the health of our consumers and accompanying them throughout their life.

In our installations - located in Priego de Cordoba, one of the areas with most tradition in the world in the cultivation of the olive grove - we produce authentic olive nectar in a completely natural way, thus safeguarding the purity and integrity of our products Conscious of the importance of the incorporation of new technologies in the preparation process of a product of such incomparable quality, we have made the necessary investment effort to provide our mills with latest generation modern installations.
We have an exclusive extraction system which, since neither heat nor water are used in the process, allows us to obtain from the oil each and every one of its attributes. We have adequate technical resources for the constant search for quality in our oils and the improvement of the oil production process.
