These magnificent designs are made by indigenous groups and talented artisans found primarily in the states of Puebla, Hidalgo, and Oaxaca, and include peculiar figures such as flowers and animals, among other shapes, characterized for the use of specific colors: blue, yellow, orange, green, brown, and black. This artisanal technique is most commonly used for creating traditional everyday utensils such as dishes, vases, sinks, religious articles, and decorative figures.
