Marutomo Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer specializing in katsuobushi (dried bonito) products, Japanese dashi and soup-stock seasonings. Established in 1918, the company has developed extensive experience in bonito processing and the manufacture of Japanese food products for household and food-service use. Its core product range includes dried bonito flakes (katsuobushi), powdered dashi, dashi packs, liquid dashi and related food products.

The company operates seven manufacturing facilities, including plants in Ehime and Sendai, and its manufacturing capabilities are supported by FSSC 22000 certification. Selected Marutomo facilities and products are also covered by JIT Halal certification.
