Mantou, often referred to as "Chinese Steamed Buns", are a type of bread originating from China. The original mantou is a plain and simple version of these steamed buns.

Ingredients:

Pau Flour, Water, Vegetable Fat, Sugar, Baking Powder, Yeast and Salt.

Cooking Method:

Steamed:

Do not defrost. Steam frozen for 10 minutes.

Microwave Oven:

Microwave the steamed bun with a small cup of water side by side for 1 minute at high temperature.

Deep Fry:

Thaw to room temperature. Deep fry at 180°C temperature until golden brown. Crispy outside, soft inside.
